Lewis Daly,

Dr Lewis Daly has a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Oxford. He has worked as an academic researcher and university lecturer for over ten years, at world-leading institutions including University College London (UCL) and the University of Oxford. Lewis specialises in social and environmental anthropology, including topics such as sustainability, climate, technology, and development. He has extensive experience of conducting qualitative social research in Latin America and the Caribbean, in particular, having worked with indigenous communities in the Amazon rainforest since 2010. He has worked as a social research consultant with major conservation organisations including the NGO BirdLife International as well as research and marketing agencies in the UK.

Lewis speaks Makushi (Carib) and is proficient in Portuguese (particularly Brazilian) and Spanish.
